RamCharanTej and Thamanna are currently shooting a song in Periyar Tiger Reserve in Thiruvananthapuram. Because of safety reasons shooting of this 32Cr budget movie has beenstopped by a forest official who is in charge of the shooting location.
Director Sampath Nandi planned an erotic love song in which Thamanna will be seen in a skimpy top and short skirt. When the actors are ready and the shooting about begin, Sanjay Kumar,the forest officer, entered the scene insisting the lead pair should wear a life jacket."I can’t allow anyone to go boating without a life jacket," Sanjay Kumar said.
Sources say the director was shocked at the order, and when no amount of pleading worked, he called off the shoot. RamCharan had convinced him to shoot with the jackets."The two stars wore life jackets as insisted by officials. It will not be seen on screen as we managed with long shots andthe rest of the song with the regular film costumes" he added. He might have performed his duty but the official denied Telugu audience a hot erotic treat.
